I started searching on, how to make money from my blog, back in 2009. I found google adsense as the best way of making money with a blog. I started with couple of free blogger’s blogs and few wordpress based websites/blogs with paid domains & web-hosting.
Since, I was new in this field, the question that how to make money from google adsense was yet to be answered. I was going for everything. Whatever, I found doable and productive, I used to start and just following it. I spent around 10 months doing the same, and finally I got my first payment from google. Woohoo….
With my first payment, I got something else too! You know what? A THOUGHT that I should leave this work. I realized that I can never be one, who makes money from google adsense monthly. So, I said Good-Bye to making money from adsense and decided to pay all of my attention in completing my MBA.
Recently, in Oct 2011 to be exact, I started searching again on making money with blog. This time I spent lot of my time in researching different websites/blogs, search engine trends, global visitors stats and so many other things. Finally in mid of Dec 2011 I had enough evaluated and precised data to launch a website or a blog again. Rather going for many blogs or sites, I decided to put everything, which I’ve researched, on a single wordpress based website.
I purchased a .com domain in Jan 2012 with an average plan of web-hosting service (i.e. under 100 US$/year). I started implementing, what I researched, on my new website and following are the screen-captures taken last night: -

My target is to reach at least $3000+ a month or $100+ daily, so far I’ve reached $2000+. When I was researching on making money from google adsense, I found couple of good publishers’ programs that could be used besides google adsense. Thus, I am using two more publishers’ programs; both of them offer flat CPM (per 1000 page-views) rates. Rates of these publishers’ programs are fair enough, ranging from $1 to $5 per thousand page-views, depending on the countries of the traffic coming in.
If you look at the last picture (Last Month’s Earning), I’ve marked total page-views for the month of Mar 2012. If you are getting around 150K page-views in a month, it becomes quite easily to pull $ 400 to 600 more to your monthly earnings from other publishers’ programs. With this much traffic from across the globe, it’s wise to have couple of banners of CPA/affiliate program on your site. I do have them and they add $ 300 to 500 more to my monthly earnings.
Now, my average monthly income can be divided into three parts: -
Google Adsense = $ 1000+
Other Publishers’ Programs = $ 400 to 600+
CPA or Affiliate Participation = $ 300 to 500+
Total becomes US $ 2000+, and it JUST took less than 4 months to get to this much monthly income….
I would love to share the secret of making money with blog, BUT! It’s not a freebee. It took me 3 months to do a thorough research, not to mention the time I wasted earlier in 2009.
Don’t worry; it won’t cost you equivalent to a 3 months salary of an MBA
